Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Milton Wainwright (ranked 5986 p4p, 0 weight class) and Japparo Leo (ranked 6098 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Japparo Leo! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Wainwright instigates a clinch. Leo tries for a takedown but Wainwright manages to get underhooks.

Wainwright is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wainwright working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Leo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Leo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Leo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Leo trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Wainwright manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Wainwright could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Wainwright passes Leo's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Wainwright performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wainwright is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Leo tries to get to full guard but Wainwright has control of the leg.

Leo is not content to let Wainwright control the position. Wainwright looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Leo tries to roll over but Wainwright keeps him under control. Wainwright perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Wainwright is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Leo is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Wainwright jumps into side control! Wainwright wants to lay and pray for a moment but Leo keeps working. Wainwright gets to mount! Leo was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Wainwright working for a choke but Leo is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wainwright controls the position.

Leo trying to control the action but Wainwright just sinks the hooks in. Wainwright slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
