#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD# Gunn tries to sprawl but Andrews drives through with a takedown into half guard. Gunn is controlling Andrews's trapped leg to prevent Andrews from advancing to side control. Andrews is taking a breather. Gunn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Gunn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gunn pushes Andrews off looking to stand but Andrews dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Andrews wants to free his trapped foot but Gunn is holding on for dear life with his legs. Gunn is not content to let Andrews control the position. Andrews uses his free foot to push down on Gunn's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gunn. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gunn is looking to get to half guard. Andrews takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Gunn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Johnson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Nice shot lands for Johnson. Gunn walks into a stiff left hand from Johnson.#KD# Johnson bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Gunn! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Yada looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.#CL2# Gunn has Yada up against the cage in a clinch.

Yada pulls Gunn in close to his closed guard and prevents Gunn from doing any damage or advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gibs looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Gibs lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Gunn.#TD# Gunn turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gunn manages to end up in side control. Gibs parries the strikes from Gunn easily there. Gunn is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gibs to escape.
Gunn prevents Gibs from escaping the position. Gunn is chipping away with strikes.
