#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Son shoots in looking for a takedown but Anto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Son's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Anto is looking for a counter combo. Son avoids a punch combination nicely.
Anto throws a combination that misses and Son counters with a nice body shot. Son shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Anto sprawls well. Anto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Son gets slowly back to his feet.#TD# Anto shoots in and gets a takedown into Son's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anto throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Son wants to stand but Anto is controlling the position. Anto is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#T1# Anto trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Anto is working hard here to advance position. Son is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB##SUB# Son tries to stand but as he's on his way up, Anto locks on to a trailing arm. Oh, he's locked on a tight looking armbar - it looks tight! Anto rolls him over and extends the submission further. Son is forced to tap! He'll be kicking himself for that sloppy move but that was very slick from Anto!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ameqran Anto! After winning the bout, Ameqran Anto thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. |
