Krimm fails to land the takedown. Vasconcelos went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Vasconcelos scores with a hook to the body. Krimm takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Vasconcelos lands with a shot to the body. Vasconcelos throws a series of strikes that have Krimm backpedaling.

Krimm feints the counter takedown.#TD2# Krimm closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hoyt's guard. Krimm looking to pass the guard. Hoyt has his hands on Krimm's head, controlling the position. Krimm wants to control from the top but Hoyt keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hoyt preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. #T1# Krimm is in close to Hoyt's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hoyt looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Krimm is looking to work some ground and pound but Hoyt has wrist control.#SUB# Hoyt is looking for a triangle but Krimm pushes his legs off easily.
Hoyt keeping moving, preventing Krimm from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Krimm rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hoyt moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Krimm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hoyt's waist but Hoyt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Krimm off to one side. Krimm shoots in for a takedown but Hoyt shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Keller Hoyt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oakley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Krimm's head. Oakley displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Krimm fails to land the takedown. Krimm looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Krimm shoots and misses and Oakley makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Oakley connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Krimm's hands. Krimm gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Oakley counters with a straight right hand. Dennis Oakley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Krimm. The fight stays on the outside here - Krimm looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Oakley went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Krimm is still on wobbly legs! Can Oakley finish him? Krimm looks up at the clock. Bad move! Oakley lands a right hand from hell, dropping Krimm. Oakley pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Tommy Jonnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jonnes takes a swing at Krimm's ribcage but misses. Jonnes lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Krimm ducks right into an uppercut from Jonnes. Krimm shoots in for a takedown but Jonnes shows good takedown defense. It looked like Jonnes wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jonnes scores with a nice strike. Sloppy strikes from Jonnes. Those never looked like landing. Krimm with the counter takedown but Jonnes avoids it easily. Jonnes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Krimm on the side of the head. Jonnes scores with a sloppy right hand. Krimm should have avoided that one. It's a brutal combination of punches from Jonnes! Krimm is backing up but he can't get away as Jonnes lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Krimm and ends the fight. Great knockout.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors.
