Lock manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Lock tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nuar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. #SUB2# Lock is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Lock manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nuar manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVB# Lock looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Lock slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nuar dodges the ground and pound from Lock. Lock throws an elbow but Nuar slips to the side and avoids it well. Nuar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lock on the ground. Lock happy to just control the position for now. It looks like Lock might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... And that's the end of the fight! Neck Lock comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Lock tries to roll over but Nuar keeps him under control.#SUB2# Nuar is looking for a kimura but Lock is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nuar to get the leverage. Lock makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lock. Lock managing to control the position. Nuar wants to control from the top but Lock keeps moving. Nuar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nuar being controlled here momentarily. Lock lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Lock could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#T1# Nuar wants to stand and escape but Lock is having none of it. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nuar takes one to the chin there. Marsimoto scores with the left hand. Nuar knows he should have avoided that one. Nuar shoots for a takedown but Marsimoto saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Nuar dives in and grabs Marsimoto's left leg, looking for a takedown. Marsimoto pushes down on Nuar's head and hops out. Nuar has his takedown stuffed and Marsimoto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Marten Marsimoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lomi Nuar. Nuar throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Marsimoto.#CL# Marsimoto clinches up against the cage.#BC# Marsimoto pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nuar is looking to slow Marsimoto down with leg kicks. A decent looking cross lands there for Marsimoto. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Marsimoto blocks a head kick by Nuar.
#CL# Marsimoto instigates a clinch. A short left from Marsimoto. Marsimoto gets through Nuar's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Nuar is looking to break free of the clinch but Marsimoto has double underhooks. Marsimoto lands a right hand that snaps the head of Nuar backwards. Marsimoto lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Knees in the clinch landing for Marsimoto.

Marsimoto scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Nuar pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Marsimoto back to the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#BC2# Nuar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nuar is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Marsimoto. Nuar walks into a jab. Nuar scores with a head kick.

Nuar is trying to break the clinch but Marsimoto is controlling him. Marsimoto digs a right hand underneath Nuar's ribcage. Nuar let out a lung full of air as it connected.
