Ferreira Azevedo had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 160.1, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Ashitaka Tamura was cancelled. |

Azevedo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Coutier connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Azevedo scrambles back to his feet.

Coutier cracks Azevedo with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Azevedo tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Coutier pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Azevedo is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
