The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gummybear tries to sprawl but Randall drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Randall is working for an americana but Gummybear has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Randall was thinking about the submission.
Randall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gummybear swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Randall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Gummybear tries to land a sweep but no joy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gummybear jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Randall walks away with a smile on his face. Gummybear gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Marius throws a quick counter head kick but Randall was just out of range.
Gaius Marius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Randall.
Marius lands a head kick. Randall smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like James Randall has been cut.
Marius is looking to slow Randall down with leg kicks.
Randall should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Marius lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Randall falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Styles smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Deiveison Formiga (ranked 7066 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Randall (ranked 5620 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that James Randall was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
