Santiago misses the shot to the body. Slade moves out of range as Santiago strikes. Slade comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Nice defenses there by Slade. Santiago misses with a straight left. Slade appears to be looking for a big counter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Slade closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Santiago's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slade distracts Santiago with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Wick looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wick scores with a jab. Slade acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Slade takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Slade staying out of range there. Good work by Wick as he checks the leg kick. It looked like Wick was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Slade. Wick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Slade is looking to clinch. #CL2# Wick gets tackled into the cage by Slade. Slade maintains the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slade makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Wick stalls. Wick tries to pull guard but Slade holds him up against the cage and eventually Wick drops back down to his feet.

Slade feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ruizs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Ruiz misses with a takedown attempt and Slade scores with a counter punch that sends Ruiz to the canvas! Slade smells blood - he's punishing Ruiz with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Ruiz has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
