Mar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Batson defends well and Mar ends up having to push Batson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Oh Batson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Barakka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Batson pinned against the cage. Batson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Batson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Barakka changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Batson tries to clinch but Barakka is having none of it.
And Barakka tries to counter it with a takedown but Batson pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Batson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barakka paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Barakka shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Batson defends it nicely.

Let's hope that Barakka has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
