He's simply no match for Aurelios on the ground. Aurelios pulls Saprykin in close to prevent any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Aurelios can do anything to dispel that myth. Saprykin trying to control the position from guard on top but Aurelios is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Saprykin postures up in Aurelios's guard and throws a big left but Aurelios blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aurelios thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bidwell trying to control but Aurelios postures up.
Bidwell tries to roll over but Aurelios keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aurelios with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bidwell is not content to let Aurelios control the position.#T1# Bidwell tries to kick Aurelios off but Aurelios keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bidwell has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Aurelios wants to get back to his feet but Anjo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Anjo trying to stand up but can't free himself from Aurelios's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aurelios avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aurelios wants to sweep here but Anjo controlling him for the moment. Aurelios is trying to pull guard but Zhao turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.#TD2# Zhao pulls guard effortlessly. Aurelios wants to control from the top but Zhao keeps moving. #SUB2# Aurelios is sitting in close to Zhao's body. Zhao has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Aurelios is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Aurelios is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Zhao.
