Mckean has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Mckean throws a jab but it's blocked by Vears. A head kick misses from Vears. Vears attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Craig Mckean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vears walks into a stiff left hand from Mckean. Mckean connects with a looping right hand.

Mckean throws a hook but Vears blocks it. Vears tries to counter by closing the distance. Mckean lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Mckean throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Mckean connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Vears pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mckean is out of range and Vears settles back down. Mckean feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vearss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mckean misses with a hook. Vears throws a sloppy head kick and Mckean moves out of range easily. Vears throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Vears connects with a leg kick. Mckean is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Vears just misses with a punch to the body.

Vears looks to clinch but Mckean throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Vears taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

and Vears counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bitch's knee momentarily. Vears definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Bitch dips to his left and cracks Vears with an uppercut! Bitch tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Vears stuffs the takedown attempt from Bitch. Bitch gets slowly back to his feet. A good leg kick by Vears. Bitch has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Vears lands a jab to Bitch's midsection. Bitch is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Bitch shuts the power down on Vears. Lights out, game over! Bitch is your winner.

Vears lands a good knee to the midsection. Saprykin won't want to take too many of those. I was talking to Saprykin's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Vears keeps control of Saprykin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Vears tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Saprykin avoids it. Saprykin dodges an elbow strike from Vears.

Vears throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. McGraugh throwing a counter right hand but Vears manages to avoid it. A head kick misses from Vears. Vears tries a head kick but it misses.
It looked like McGraugh was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Vears. Vears looks to land a body kick but McGraugh moved away. A big right from Vears misses. McGraugh dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A leg kick checked by McGraugh. McGraugh is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Vears feints and then cracks McGraugh's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McGraugh down. As Doyle backs off Vears throws a huge counter combo but Doyle manages to avoid it all. Vears throws a head kick that Doyle semi-blocks.
Vears bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.#CUT2#It looks like Stewart Doyle has been cut. Nice straight punches there by Vears. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Vears.#ROC2#Doyle is rocked! Vears fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Doyle out cold! Brutal finish!

Ushakow connects with a high kick. Vears thows a body kick. Ushakow tries to catch it but that hurt him. Vears avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vears throws a half hearted mid kick. Ushakow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Vears tries to land a leg kick but Ushakow saw it coming and moves away.
