Hasanov slips a jab and a cross from Pidorchyk.
Pidorchyk fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hasanov tries to counter by clinching up but Pidorchyk breaks away and moves out of range. Hasanov shoots in for a takedown but Pidorchyk shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.#CL# Hasanov clinches up against the cage. Hasanov is looking for a takedown.#BC# Hasanov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. #CL# Hasanov closes the distance and pushes Pidorchyk back into the cage. Hasanov is struggling to control the position. Hasanov is stalling here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pidorchyk lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hasanov backwards. #T1# Pidorchyk tries to break free but Hasanov pushes him back against the cage.#TD# Pidorchyk is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hasanov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pidorchyk to the mat. Pidorchyk regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Pidorchyk is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hasanov landing some decent shots from guard. Pidorchyk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hasanov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pidorchyk avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hasanov stands and throws Pidorchyk's legs to the side, diving into side control. Hasanov misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Pidorchyk defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. We've been hearing good reports from Hasanov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Hasanov sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Hasanov thowing shots but they're missing. Pidorchyk is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pidorchyk flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Hasanov anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pidorchyk and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Hasanov slips an arm under Pidorchyk chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Hasanov has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Hasanov is squeezing on Pidorchyk like an anaconda would it's prey. Pidorchyk fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
