#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krouse shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Liam defends it nicely. Krouse shoots in but no luck this time. Liam lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Krouse circles away quickly and effectively.#TD2# Krouse closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Krouse lands in his opponent's guard. Liam has his hands on Krouse's head, controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Liam looking to hit a scissor sweep but Krouse is one step ahead there. Liam managing to control the position. #T1# Krouse looking to pass the guard. #SUB2# Krouse drops back looking for a leg! Liam is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Liam manages to kick Krouse off! Krouse jumps back into Liam's guard. Liam managing to control the position. Krouse won't allow Liam to sweep him here. #T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Krouse pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Liam is keeping the position for now. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Krouse fails with the takedown and Liam cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bruce Liam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Krouse. Krouse fails with the takedown and Liam counters with a straight right hand. Krouse looks winded! Good standup being displayed there by Liam as he connects with a hook. Liam scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Liam misses with a looping left. Liam throws a lazy right hand but Krouse sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.#T3# Krouse staying out of range there. Liam scores with a jab to the jaw. Liam throws a quick inside leg kick. Liam scores with a jab. Krouse shoots and misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Liam bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.#ROC#Krouse is rocked! David Krouse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Liam stuns Krouse with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Krouse is still on wobbly legs! Can Liam finish him? Liam scores with a decent looking hook. Liam drops Krouse with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Krouse! Liam dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Liam! Bruce Liam decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little. David Krouse was interviewed post fight and said 'oof'. |

#R1# Krouse fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Barushki leaves Krouse with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Krouse shoots in but Barushki avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Krouse. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krouse shoots in looking for a takedown. Barushki tries to sprawl out of it but Krouse keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barushki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Krouse misses with a wild combination.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krouse shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Barushki defends it nicely. Krouse looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Barushki avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Krouse manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.#T1##TD2# Krouse is fighting off a takedown attempt but Barushki is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Krouse to the mat. Krouse regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Barushki controlling from the top position. Barushki works a leg free and moves into half guard. Barushki looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Barushki tries to pass to full mount but Krouse defends it. #T2# Krouse wants to get back to his feet.

Barushki landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. #SUB2# Barushki is looking for a kimura but Krouse is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Barushki to get the leverage. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
#T3# It looks like Barushki might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Krouse wants to get back to full guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krouse gets back to full guard.

You can't force these things though and Barushki defends well.#SUB# Barushki got a little sloppy there for a moment and Krouse has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barushki has managed to get both his arms back between Krouse's legs - danger averted. Barushki controls the pace of the fight for a moment.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Barushki tries to avoid it but Krouse manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barushki to the ground. Barushki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Barushki has Krouse pressed against the cage, preventing Krouse from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Come on Barushki - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Barushki slips a nice elbow through Krouse's hands, connecting with Krouse's forehead. Krouse is trying to stand back up but Barushki is controlling him
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Barushki working his ground and pound in the gym. Krouse is trying to maintain the position but Barushki is very close to passing his half guard. Barushki not doing much here.
Krouse is looking to control Barushki 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Krouse avoid being mounted? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#SUB# Krouse has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Barushki escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Barushki !
And that's the end of the fight! Artur Barushki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Barushki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Krouse is trying to pull guard but Notorious has him pressed against the cage.#BC2# Notorious pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#TD# Krouse manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Notorious on his heels. He'll look to pass Notorious's guard now, I'm sure. Krouse slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. #SU# Notorious is working an open guard so Krouse takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.#TD# Krouse closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Krouse wants to control but Notorious is keeping him busy. Krouse trying to mount his opponent but Notorious defends it. #SUB# Krouse is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Notorious doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Krouse. Notorious wants to get back to full guard.#T1# Notorious has a hand on Krouse's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Krouse takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Krouse is in the full mount, landing strikes. Notorious is trying to escape the mount but Krouse keeps good control and instead manages to take Notorious's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krouse controlling well, preventing Notorious from escaping the position.
#SUB# Krouse is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Notorious has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Krouse has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Notorious taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Krouse doesn't care though - he's delighted!
