We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Graves has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Pezao.
Pezao throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Man sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Despite the aggression on Man's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Man checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Man looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Pezao throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Pezao just misses with a punch to the body.
Pezao throws a leg kick but Man checks it.
Pezao swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pezao tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Man defends well and Pezao ends up having to push Man into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Man looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Man dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Pezao stiff and motionless on the mat!

A big left from Man misses.
Man has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Guire tries to move into range but Man moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Man sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Guire definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nice cross by Man.
Man misses with a hook.

Man has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Sparring in the buildup to the fight.
Empive misses with a double jab
and Man counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Skop Doner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Doner fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Man to the ground. Doner is now in Man's guard.
Doner slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Man is not content to let Doner control the position.
Man is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Doner asserts his dominance and retains side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SUB#
Doner tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Doner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! #T1#

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Doner has hold of Man's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Man tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Doner cranks the arm and Man screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Man, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
