Guy throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Anderson counters with a stiff right hand. Wrestling Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guy shoots and misses and Anderson counters with a nice uppercut. Anderson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Anderson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Anderson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Guy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Anderson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Guy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Anderson to counter with a crisp jab. Nice takedown defense from Anderson. No joy for Guy on that attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Anderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Guy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Anderson to counter with a crisp jab. Guy doesn't succeed with the takedown and Anderson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Anderson stuffs the takedown. Anderson sizes up Guy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. #ROC2#Guy is rocked!#KD2# Anderson cracks Guy with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Guy wants to control but Mills is having none of it. We've been hearing good reports from Mills's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
