Dirk tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dirk keeping moving, preventing Tam from controlling successfully.

Tam wants to sweep but no luck.
Dirk stands and throws Tam's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Tam knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dirk on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Burns has hold of Dirk's leg, trying to break free but it's let Dirk lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Burns is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Dirk throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.

Pimba has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Dirk has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Pimba taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Dirk doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Reykdalsson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Reykdalsson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Dirk has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dirk works Reykdalsson's body with a nice hook.
Dirk fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Reykdalsson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tom Dirk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dirk lands with a straight right. Reykdalsson didn't see that one coming.
Dirk lunges at Reykdalsson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Reykdalsson's hand. #KD2#
Dirk drops Reykdalsson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Reykdalsson looks back up at him and smiles so Dirk waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
