Koko doesn't manage to clinch there - Guire circles away.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Koko creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Koko scores with a nice short uppercut.
Koko scores with a shot to the side of Guire's head.
Guire scores with a shot to the side of Koko's head.
Koko prevents Guire from breaking the clinch.
Guire fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Guire swings wildly with an uppercut but Koko uses good head movement to avoid it.
Guire misses with a punch on the inside.
Koko lands with a short head shot on the inside.
A shot in the inside from Koko.
Koko lands a hook that snaps the head of Guire backwards. #ROC#Guire is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Guire is still on wobbly legs! Can Koko finish him?
Koko lands a nice uppercut.
Koko creates a bit of distance and cracks Guire with a massive left hook! Guire crumples out of camera shot, completely unconscious! He's been Nelmarked! Koko stares at him for a moment then struts over to his corner, victorious.

Tapu Koko opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see. |

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guire misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A big left from Man misses.
Man has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Guire tries to move into range but Man moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Man sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Guire definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nice cross by Man.
Man misses with a hook.
Man connects with a body shot.
Man lands a jab to Guire's midsection.#CL2#
The fight moves into the clinch position.
A shot in the inside from Man.
Man lands a hook to the side of the head.#ROC2#Guire is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Man lands a big right hand that drops Guire! The killer instinct kicks in and Man finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Man!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Lunde throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Guire will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lunde ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guire moves away.
Guire takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice shot lands for Lunde.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lunde, as that shot connected.
Guire jabs at Lunde's body.
Lunde tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Guire was well out of range. Poor timing from Lunde.
Lunde ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Guire throws a sloppy head kick
and Lunde counters with a left to the body.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lunde throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lunde drops Guire with a huge uppercut! Guire drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Lunde is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stig Lunde!
A less than humble Stig Lunde misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities. |

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lunde punishes Guire's body with a nice straight punch.
Guire throws a nice looking combination but Lunde bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lunde doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
A leg kick checked by Lunde.
Guire sets himself, and Lunde steps forward looking for the clinch! Guire avoids it this time.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Guire!
Lunde takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Guire keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Lunde lands a big right hand that sends Guire crashing to the mat! Lunde stays standing though and waves Guire back to his feet!#ROC2#Guire is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Lunde engages and cracks Guire with a massive lead left hook - Guire tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Lunde is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stig Lunde!

Guire misses with a body shot

and Lucroy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Guire wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Lucroy manages to pass to side control. #REVB#
Lucroy moves into full mount! Guire won't be happy about that!
Lucroy landing strikes from the mount and Guire is in trouble!
Lucroy postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Guire in real trouble here! The ref calls for Guire to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Vig lands a glancing blow to the side of Guire's head.
Guire tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Guire swinging wildly here.
It looked like Vig was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Guire.
Vig moves out of range of the body kick.
Vig on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Vig throws an overhand right that lands on Guire's shoulder, as Guire tries to avoid the shot.
Vig uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Alf Vig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vig throws a hook but Guire avoids it easily.
Guire throws a head kick that misses.
Guire fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vig manages to avoid it.
Vig definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Vig misses with a left hand
and Guire counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Vig dips to his left and cracks Guire with an uppercut!
Guire chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vig can pounce on him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A nice combination there by Guire.
Vig checks a low kick from Guire.
Vig lands a nice looking body shot.

Some bone on bone action there as Vig checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Guire moves out of range as Vig strikes.

Vig lands a big uppercut and Guire crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Guire looks OK. Vig waves Guire back to his feet!#ROC#Guire is rocked!
Vig fakes the body blow, causing Guire to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Guire goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Alf Vig spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. |
