The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lunde moves out of range of the strikes.
Lunde swings for the body but Don moves out of range.
Lunde looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Don misses with a takedown
and Lunde connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Don defending well as Lunde loads up on a big left hand.
Lunde keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Don.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Don lands with a hook. Lunde tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A shot to the body from Lunde misses
and Don counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lunde stuffs the takedown attempt from Don. Don gets slowly back to his feet. #T1#
Lunde's jab looks to have found its range, popping Don under the eye.
Don steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lunde.
Don appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Don swings for the body but Lunde moves out of range.

Don lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Don throws out a loose jab but Lunde uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lunde moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Don tests Lunde's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Don misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Monty Don. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice defenses there by Don.
Lunde jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Don throws out a loose jab but Lunde uses good head movement to avoid it.
A little jabbing left from Lunde on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.#T3#
Don lands with a right hand.
Lunde looks to throw the jab but Don is out of range.
Lunde throws an overhand right that lands on Don's shoulder, as Don tries to avoid the shot.
Don changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Lunde looking to hit a scissor sweep but Don is one step ahead there.
Don slips nicely into half guard.
We've been hearing that Don has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Lunde is looking to escape.
Lunde really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Don. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB#
Don is working for a submission of some sort.
Don is nestled in close to Lunde, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.#T4#
Lunde on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Lunde has hold of Don's hands but Don slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Don winds up and cracks Lunde with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #ROC#Lunde is rocked!
Don lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Lunde quite badly. Lunde pulls Don in close trying to recover. Don postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Lunde on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Lunde doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Monty Don!

Takamura pushes Lunde up against the cage in a clinch.
Lunde lands a body punch in the clinch.
Lunde lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Lunde lands with a light punch inside.
A short uppercut from Lunde.
Lunde looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Takamura misses with a short punch on the inside.
Lunde digs a right hand into Takamura's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Takamura's gas tank.

Lunde escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lunde darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Takamura's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Lunde before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stig Lunde!
Stig Lunde decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Lunde throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Guire will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lunde ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guire moves away.
Guire takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice shot lands for Lunde.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lunde, as that shot connected.
Guire jabs at Lunde's body.
Lunde tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Guire was well out of range. Poor timing from Lunde.
Lunde ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Guire throws a sloppy head kick
and Lunde counters with a left to the body.
Lunde has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lunde lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Guire at a distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lunde throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lunde drops Guire with a huge uppercut! Guire drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Lunde is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Lunde punishes Guire's body with a nice straight punch.
Guire throws a nice looking combination but Lunde bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lunde doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
A leg kick checked by Lunde.
Guire sets himself, and Lunde steps forward looking for the clinch! Guire avoids it this time.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Guire!
Lunde takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Guire keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Lunde engages and cracks Guire with a massive lead left hook - Guire tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Lunde is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
