#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mongrel connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. #CUT#It looks like KJ Flay has been cut. Flay misses with a takedown attempt and Mongrel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Mongrel drops Flay with a straight right hand, right on the button! Mongrel follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Mongrel! A relieved looking John Mongrel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flay moves out of range as Blanka strikes. Flay dodges the punch combination from Blanka.
Blanka jabs Flay to the body, keeping him at a distance.#TD# Flay bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Flay cracks Blanka with a big right hand but Blanka just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Flay scoring with punches from side control. Flay working the body and head with strikes. Flay lands a decent elbow from side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blanka is trying to get back to his feet. Flay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Blanka bucks up and tries to throw Flay off but instead Flay has got his back! Flay is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Blanka. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.#T1# Blanka is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Blanka is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Flay off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Flay lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Flay.
Blanka is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Flay is working the ground and pound. Can Blanka escape? Flay lands punches and elbows. Flay scores with punches and elbows. Flay connects with a couple of big shots that have Blanka covering up! Oh, this looks bad for Blanka! Flay fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cacho avoids the body shot from Flay.
Cacho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Flay's waist but Flay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cacho off to one side. Cacho keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
#TD2# Flay drives through with a takedown into guard. Cacho looking to hit a scissor sweep but Flay is one step ahead there. Flay loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Flay is working Cacho over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cacho is trying to keep Flay in close.

Cacho lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Flay wants to sweep but no luck. #SUB2# Flay looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

#T3# Flay tries to land a sweep but no joy. Cacho has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Cacho looking to sit in guard and control but Flay gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB# Cacho trying to control the position.

Flay wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cacho keeps working. Cacho has hold of Flay's hands but Flay slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. KJ Flay dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Flay working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Cacho is refusing to be controlled, as Flay sits in half guard. #T2# Flay looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cacho with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #ROC2#Cacho is rocked! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Flay connects with a nice short shot to Cacho's temple. Flay throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Cacho knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flay on the ground. Flay is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Cacho is hurt! He's hurt bad - Flay fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Cacho from any more punishment! Congratulations to Flay! Great finish!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flay keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bogdan. Bogdan loads up on a big right hand but Flay slips the punch. Flay shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Flay with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Bogdan to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT2#It looks like KJ Flay has been cut. Bogdan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Bogdan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Flay slips under a jab. Bogdan lands a jab to the head.
