This has been an exciting period of action!
Wittu is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Smith flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Smith is out cold! Wittu holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Steel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wittu swivels and escapes.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Steel.
Wittu throws out a counter right but Steel avoids it with no problem.
Wittu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wittu wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Steel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Steel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wittu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Oooooh!!! Wittu has knocked Gracie down with a huge combo! Wittu steps away and waves a wobbly Gracie back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT#It looks like Royle Gracie has been cut.
Wittu ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Gracie out cold! The fight is over!

A little jabbing left from Wittu on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Trechuk has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Prosper Training in the buildup to the fight.

Trechuk complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

We've been told by Konstantinov's head coaches at Armored Fitness & Sparring that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Riley Oconner decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
