Kahl feints and then cracks Wallace's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wallace down. Wallace throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A looping hook to the body misses from Wallace. Kahl does a little dance to reset his feet. Wallace scores with a hook to the body. Kahl takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Cid Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wallace is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kahl. Kahl definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace throws a body punch but Furgusen moves out of range. Furgusen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wallace punishes Furgusen's body with a nice straight punch. Wallace moves into range and connects with a jab. Wallace lands with an uppercut that bounces Furgusen off the cage and back into range. Good standup being displayed there by Wallace as he connects with a hook. Furgusen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Wallace blocks a jab. Wallace scores with a jab to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Wallace darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Wallace takes a swing at Gehrig 's ribcage but misses. Gehrig looks for a takedown but Wallace sprawls well. Gehrig dives in for a single leg takedown but Wallace sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. It seemed like Wallace was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Nice takedown defense from Wallace. No joy for Gehrig on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terry Gehrig . That's going to take a lot out of him. Wallace bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gehrig 's head backwards.#CUT2# It looks like Terry Gehrig has been cut.
