Joemez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Joe connects with a looping right hand.
Joe throws a combination. Rasputin tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Rasputin takes a swing at Joe's ribcage but misses.
Rasputin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
As Joe tries to get set, Rasputin tries to push him back and clinch up but Joe manages to avoid the attempt.
Rasputin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A slow jab from Rasputin misses its intended target.
Joe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rasputin.
Joe looks to land a left hand but Rasputin moved out of range nicely.

Joe is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Rasputin screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Cuba pushes off an throws an elbow but Joe leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cuba will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Joe up against the cage.
