#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joemez lands a nice looking kick to the body. Joe takes a step back to recover. Joemez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Joemez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Joe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Joemez.

Joemez gets off balance looking for a body kick and Joe counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Joemez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe connects with a looping right hand.
Joe throws a combination. Rasputin tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Rasputin takes a swing at Joe's ribcage but misses. Rasputin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. As Joe tries to get set, Rasputin tries to push him back and clinch up but Joe manages to avoid the attempt. Rasputin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A slow jab from Rasputin misses its intended target. Joe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rasputin.
Joe looks to land a left hand but Rasputin moved out of range nicely. Rasputin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.#CUT#It looks like Bungeye Joe has been cut. Joe scores with a nice head shot.#CL# Rasputin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Joe, pushing him back against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A nice right hand lands inside from Rasputin. Joe tries to pull guard but Rasputin holds him up against the cage and eventually Joe drops back down to his feet.

Joe's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rasputin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Rasputin lands with a light punch inside. Rasputin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. This has been an exciting period of action! Rasputin lands a hook that snaps the head of Joe backwards. Joe is still on wobbly legs! Can Rasputin finish him? Rasputin dips a shoulder and cracks Joe with a mighty uppercut! Joe falls back against the cage and Rasputin unloads with a barrage of strikes! Joe is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Rasputin screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

#R1##CL2# Cuba moves into range and clinches up with Joe. Joe is trying to pull guard but Cuba has him pressed against the cage. Cuba leaning against his opponent.
Cuba creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Cuba lands an elbow just above Joe 's eye. #CUT2# It looks like Bungeye Joe has been cut. Cuba content to slow the pace in the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Cuba.
Cuba pushes off an throws an elbow but Joe leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Cuba has a couple of punches blocked by Joe.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cuba will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Joe up against the cage. Cuba lands an elbow inside. Cuba swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Joe looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Cuba lands a nice elbow. #CUT2# Bungeye Joe's cut is bleeding quite badly. #R1##KD2# Joe lands a big right hand that sends Fury crashing to the mat! Joe stays standing though and waves Fury back to his feet!#CUT2# It looks like Franklin Fury has been cut. Joe throws a series of punches but Fury moves out of range. #TD# Fury changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Joe looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#SUB# Fury is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Joe has escaped the position, nice work there. Joe is looking to reverse the position. Joe is trying to control Fury's posture but Fury avoids it. Joe gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. #SUB2# Joe is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fury pulls his head out easily. Fury passes to full mount! Fury fails to move to back control. Fury tries to control but Joe wriggling away. Fury controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Joe is trying to escape the mount.
Fury forces the positional change into back control. Fury could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#SUB# Fury is persistently looking for the submission but Joe is defending it well.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Joe's guard. Fury trying to pass the guard but Joe defending well. #T3##SUB# Fury is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Fury uses his free foot to push down on Joe's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Joe. Joe has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Makchakala feinted with a counter takedown. Makchakala could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Joe throws a series of punches but Makchakala avoids them all with ease. A lazy left from Joe finds it's target. Joe lands a head shot.#KD2# Joe drops Makchakala with a big left hand and mounts him. Makchakala is in big trouble! #ROC2# Makchakala is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB2# Joe goes for an armbar but Makchakala turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Makchakala. Makchakala content to stall in guard here. Makchakala lands a couple of digs.#T1##SUB2# Joe has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Makchakala doesn't defend quickly enough and Joe has managed to lock this one up! Can Makchakala escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Joe on a fantastic submission victory.
