Slezina pivots, looking for a leg kick but Smith is out of range and Slezina settles back down.
Smith connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Slezina's hands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Volkov shoots in for a takedown but Slezina shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Volkov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Slezina looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Slezina lands with a shot to the body.

Slezina walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

A combination from Hasselhoff does no damage.
Hasselhoff steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Slezina.
Hasselhoff seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Covid Hasselhoff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big right from Hasselhoff misses.
Hasselhoff lunges at Slezina with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Slezina's hand.
Slezina shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hasselhoff sprawls well. Hasselhoff wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Slezina gets slowly back to his feet.

and Slezina counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Hasselhoff off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Slezina follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Hasselhoff was out before he hit the floor.
