#R1##CL# Tupp instigates a clinch. #TD# Tupp has picked Baker up - he's going for a ride! Tupp dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Baker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tupp is working away from the top position though. Baker is looking for a sweep. Tupp is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tupp slows the pace down in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baker tries to get to full guard but Tupp has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baker trying to control from the bottom.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Baker is striking from the bottom but Tupp uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. #T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Baker wants to get back to full guard. Tupp winds up and cracks Baker with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baker trying to control from the bottom.
Tupp seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Tupp has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tupp shoots in but Baker avoids the takedown attempt easily. Baker looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tupp dives in for a single leg takedown but Baker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Tupp. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baker throws a series of punches but Tupp avoids them all with ease. Baker looks to land a left hand but Tupp moved out of range nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Baker is looking to break free of the clinch but Tupp has double underhooks. We've been informed that Baker has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.#BC# Tupp breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tupp steps back and let's Baker get back to his feet.#TD# Tupp shoots in and bounces Baker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Baker wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Tupp manages to pass to side control. #REVB# Baker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Baker is striking from the bottom but Tupp uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.#T2# Baker is looking to get back to full guard here but Tupp has managed to pass to side control instead. Tupp remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Tupp scoring with punches from side control. Baker is looking for a sweep. Tupp controlling from side mount. #T3# Baker tries to get back to half guard but can't. Baker is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tupp asserts his dominance and retains side control. Baker tries to buck Tupp off but Tupp is having none of it. Baker is being controlled here. Baker sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Baker throws a strike from the bottom but Tupp passes into side control!

Tupp lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Tupp not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Baker will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Baker stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tupp is looking for the KO!#CUT# It looks like James Baker has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Tupp shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Baker takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Tupp sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Baker bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

and White counters with a straight right hand. Baker misses with a double jab
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. White throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Baker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from White finds it's way round the side to connect with Baker's head. White drops his hands momentarily and Baker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. #CUT2# It looks like Vernon White has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Baker's hands. Baker connects with a looping right hand.
#T1# White connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. James Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and White counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. White lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Baker drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. and White counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. White lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Baker misses with a right hand and White counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Baker might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, White has got the better of the exchanges.#T3# White lands a really nice looking cross but Baker seems unphased.

And that's the end of the fight! Vernon White showed his dominance in that final round. Well White has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# A slow jab from Baker misses its intended target. #CL# Hughes drives through and clinches with Baker against the cage.
Baker taking a breather. Hughes takes a shot to the head. #BC# Hughes manages to break the clinch.
Hughes throws a wild hook but Baker just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Hughes gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Baker raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
