#R1##TD# Teddy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Diokane desperately trying to maintain half guard. #SUB# Teddy is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Diokane has managed to free his arm - good work. Diokane trying to control here.
Teddy controlling the action here. Teddy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diokane on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diokane has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Teddy is working away from the top position though. Teddy seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. #T1# Diokane trying to control here.
Teddy is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Diokane is concentrating on defense, preventing Teddy from advancing position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Diokane trying to hold on to Teddy's head to control him but Teddy postures up.
Teddy is nestled in close to Diokane, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Teddy trying to control from half guard but Diokane is working away. Diokane is pressing down on Teddy's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.#SUB2# Teddy is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Diokane has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Teddy is looking to defend but Diokane has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Teddy! Diokane pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Teddy taps out and this one is all over!

#R1# Teddy dives in and grabs Varian's left leg, looking for a takedown. Varian pushes down on Teddy's head and hops out. Varian throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
#TD2# and Teddy counters with a single leg into guard. Varian didn't expect that. Teddy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Varian manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Teddy manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVR##SUB# Varian thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Varian wants to stand but Teddy is controlling his posture from full guard. #SUB2# Teddy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Varian gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #T1# Teddy lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Varian wants to control the position but Teddy says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Teddy prevents Varian from improving his position. Teddy wants to get back to his feet.

Kevin Varian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ted Teddy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#TD2# Teddy tightens his grip and picks Varian up, before dumping him to the ground. Varian manages to land in guard. Varian is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Teddy wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Varian. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Varian tries to clinch but Teddy is having none of it. Varian tries to score a power double leg takedown but Teddy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Varian somewhat. Varian throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Teddy's waist but Teddy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Varian off to one side. Teddy slaps away a takedown attempt from Varian, before circling back to the center of the mat. Varian throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

A big left from Teddy misses. Varian closes the distance but Teddy moves to the side and Teddy counters with a series of strikes. Varian will be more careful next time no doubt. #CUT2# It looks like Kevin Varian has been cut. Horrible takedown attempt by Varian or perhaps it was just good defense by Teddy, which made it look bad. Teddy with the counter takedown but Varian avoids it easily.#T4##TD2# Teddy gets the takedown into side control. Ted Teddy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kevin Varian's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! #R3# Varian fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Teddy avoids it really well and circles away. Teddy drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Varian defends it well. Varian shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Teddy but Teddy pushes him off and we're back to square one. Teddy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Varian shoots and misses #TD2# and Teddy counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Varian! #ES# Varian bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Varian. That's going to take a lot out of him. Varian is looking to clinch. #CL2# Teddy gets a clinch. Teddy has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Teddy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Varian fights it off and pushes away nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ted Teddy. Well Teddy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Teddy is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Teddy controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Walton lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Walton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Teddy is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Teddy pulls Walton in to control the position. Walton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SUB2# Teddy looking for a guillotine here but Walton defends easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that JimBob Walton will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters!
