#R1# Abdullaev fails to land the takedown. Done throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Abdullaev's waist but Abdullaev gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Done off to one side. Abdullaev is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Nice takedown defense from Done. No joy for Abdullaev on that attempt. Abdullaev shoots in for a takedown but Done shows good takedown defense. You Done has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bazigit Abdullaev. Abdullaev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Done circles away. Done changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.#TD2# Abdullaev looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Abdullaev lands a couple of decent looking shots. Abdullaev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Abdullaev lands a couple of elbows. Done thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Abdullaev is working Done over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Done looking to control.
We've been informed that Abdullaev has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Abdullaev postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Done can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Abdullaev controls the pace. Abdullaev's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Abdullaev stays in close to Puni's body and controls the position. Abdullaev is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Abdullaev makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Abdullaev stands up over Puni, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Abdullaev advances to half guard. Abdullaev seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Puni is trying to get back to full guard. Nice strikes from Abdullaev there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Abdullaev working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. #T1# Nice strikes from Abdullaev there. Come on Abdullaev, up you get! #TD2# Abdullaev bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.#T3# Abdullaev takes a little break here. Puni wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Abdullaev cracks Puni with a big right hand but Puni just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Abdullaev around the waist but Abdullaev pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Abdullaev is the winner by TKO! Abdullaev jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
