#R1# A head kick misses from Schneid. Tas unleashes a big counter combination but Schneid bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Nice sprawl there from Tas as Schneid shoots in.#TD2# Tas drives through with a takedown into guard. Schneid looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tas with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Tas is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Tas with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tas slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# It looks like Tas might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Schneid looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tas is one step ahead there. Schneid being controlled here, momentarily. #T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#TD2# Tas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Schneid wants to get back to full guard but Tas has passed into side control. Schneid is looking to reverse the position. Tas controls the position. Schneid is looking to regain half guard here but Tas keeps moving and retains side control. Tas scoring with punches from side control. #T4# Tas happy to just control the position for now. #SU2# Tas decides to take the fight back to the feet. Schneid fails with a takedown attempt. Schneid is breathing heavily. Tas misses with a series of wild punches.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#TD2# Tas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tas lands in his opponent's guard. Tas pushing down on Schneid's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2##TD2# Tas scores with a takedown into Schneid's guard.#ES# Schneid has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Tas has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.#TD2# Tas gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Schneid regains guard.
Tas has been the more effective fighter overall so far.#SUB# Schneid had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Schneid has escaped and now he's on top! #REVR# Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tas throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Schneid has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#T1# Schneid is looking to stand up but Tas won't let him. Tas keeping full guard, as Schneid tries to pass. #SUB2# Tas pushes a forearm under Schneid's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar!
