We've been told by Chainz's head coaches at New York Training Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. A shot to the body from Chainz misses and Jordan counters with a straight right hand.#CL# Chainz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jordan, pushing him back against the cage.#BC# Chainz manages to break the clinch.
Chainz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jordan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jordan is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chainz misses with a takedown attempt and Jordan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Chainz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jordan.

Chainz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Chainz has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Chainz pushing down on Jordan's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Jordan has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA New York. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.#T2# Jordan won't allow Chainz to pass to mount. Chainz frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Chainz controlling from the full mount. Jordan is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
#SUB# Chainz is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jordan is surviving well by controlling Chainz's body position as best he can. #T3##SU# Chainz get's back to his feet. Chainz lands the left hand. Chainz throws a right and a left that both miss. Jordan unleashes a big counter combination but Chainz bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Chainz throws a poor cross that misses
and Jordan counters with a one-two to the body. Chainz looks to land a right hand but Jordan moved out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Chainz. Jordan does a little dance to reset his feet. Chainz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jordan circles away quickly and effectively. Jordan appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Chainz throws a lazy uppercut
and Jordan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Chainz misses with a wild combination.
#T4# Chainz lunges at Jordan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jordan's hand. Chainz staying out of range there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#CL# Chainz moves into the clinch.#BC# Chainz breaks from the clinch.
Jordan needs to keep his hands up - Chainz had a free shot at his head there. Danga de danga de dang - Chainz scores with a four punch combination! A left and a right from Jordan both land. Nice combination. Chainz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

#BC# Chainz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Chainz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jordan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jordan misses with a leg kick #KD# and Chainz counters with a crisp one two that drops Jordan! Chainz thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jordan to his feet! Jordan is in big trouble!#ROC#Jordan is rocked! Chainz cracks Jordan with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jordan tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Chainz pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jordan is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Two Chainz! A very excited looking Two Chainz made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jordan throws a series of punches but Maki avoids them all with ease. Jordan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maki moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Maki looks for the body kick but Jordan saw that one coming. Jordan misses with a wild combination.
Maki appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Jordan throws a half hearted mid kick. Jordan misses with a wild combination.
Jordan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maki fails with a takedown attempt. Jordan with the counter takedown but Maki avoids it easily. Some wild striking there from Jordan.
#T1# Maki pivots, looking for a leg kick but Jordan is out of range and Maki settles back down. Jordan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Maki circles away quickly and effectively. Jordan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
#CUT2#It looks like Yamashita Maki has been cut.#TD# Maki closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jordan quickly recovers to half guard. Maki trying to control the pace. Maki drops an elbow to the side of Jordan's head. Jordan trying to control here.
Maki controlling the action here. Jordan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Maki is working away from the top position though.#T2# Jordan is not content to let Maki control the position. Maki with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Jordan pushes Maki off looking to stand but Maki dives back in and keeps control.
Jordan wants to control but Maki is keeping busy.
Maki thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jordan's head. #T3# Jordan wants to get back to full guard. Maki not landing any meaningful shots this time. Maki missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jordan is not content to let Maki control the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jordan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Maki back to the ropes. Jordan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Jordan throws a series of punches but Maki avoids them all with ease. Maki takes a shot right to the bread basket.#CL# Maki clinches up against the ropes. Maki wants to stall.
Jordan is pressed up against the ropes. Maki has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jordan down to the mat. Jordan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #T4# Maki swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
#KD2# and Jordan counters with a crisp one two that drops Maki! Jordan thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Maki to his feet! Maki is in big trouble! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A looping hook to the body misses from Maki. Jordan does a little dance to reset his feet. Maki takes a swing at Jordan's ribcage but misses. Jordan connects with a jab.#ROC2#Maki is rocked! Maki throws a nice looking combination but Jordan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Oh Maki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jordan lands a big right hook! Maki looks hurt but is still standing! Jordan lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Maki falls down and Jordan dives in with a huge hammer fist! Maki's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Jordan runs up the ropes to celebrate with his fans!

#R1# Jordan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Whalifa bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Jordan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Whalifa throws out the jab. Whalifa fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jordan checks it well. Whalifa works Jordan's body with a nice hook. Whalifa fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Jordan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Anthony Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A decent looking cross lands there for Whalifa. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jordan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Whalifa has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Nice shot by Jordan. Whalifa throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Whalifa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jordan moves away. Jordan moves out of range as Whalifa throws a body kick.

A punch combination from Jordan misses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jordan lands with a nice combination. Whalifa backs away looking to recover.#T2# Jordan cracks Whalifa with a right hand to the side of the head. Jordan checks the leg kick nicely there.

A punch combination from Jordan misses. A head kick misses from Jordan. Jordan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Whalifa lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Jordan out cold! Jordan is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
