Oliveira works his way to full guard. Good work. Kent wants to pass the guard but Oliveira is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kent sitting in guard here, content to control. Kent trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. #SUB# Oliveira has his feet on Kent's thighs here. He's pushed Kent off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kent screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Paolo Oliveira! |
