The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Mazepin.
Boonen looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Boonen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Boonen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boonen shoots in but Mazepin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mazepin throws a leg kick which misses Boonen's front leg but catches the back leg as Boonen tries to avoid it.
Mazepin connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Boonen finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Mazepin's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Boonen falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Boonen is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Weezner moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Boonen shoots in looking for a takedown. Behn tries to sprawl out of it but Boonen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Behn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck for Boonen with that takedown attempt.

Oooooh!!! Farquharson has knocked Boonen down with a huge combo! Farquharson steps away and waves a wobbly Boonen back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC#Boonen is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Luc Boonen has been cut.
Boonen drops his hands momentarily. Farquharson doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Boonen staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Boonen doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

so Boonen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Filipovic is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Boonen presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Filipovic lands a left hand.
Filipovic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boonen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Filipovic's half guard.
Filipovic has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Boonen is on him like a limpet, forcing Filipovic back against the cage.
