The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bondara lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Mark Boris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bondara throws a looping overhand right but Boris ducks down to avoid it. Boris throws a combination that misses and Bondara counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Mark Boris has been cut. Sloppy strikes from Boris. Those never looked like landing. Bondara jabs Boris right on the nose. Boris blinks but takes it well. Bondara throws out a powerful jab. Boris fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boris throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bondara counters with a straight right hand.
Boris is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bondara flashes Boris a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Boris's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Boris crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Bondara punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Anoon Bondara! Anoon Bondara made sure to mention his sponsor, Brooklyn Apothecary in his post fight interview. |
