No joy there for Davies, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Davies throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Santos.
Santos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davies.
Santos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Davies closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Aaron Davies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Santos is working for takedown but Davies is calmly controlling the position for now.
Aaron Davies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Santos.
