Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kerns throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
Jones appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Kerns avoids the head kick by Jones.
Kerns throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kerns lands a nice shot to the body.
Kerns works over Jones's head and body with a nice combination.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kerns scores with a body shot.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Kerns misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Kerns dances in with a quick combination. Jones is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Kerns snaps Jones's head back. Jones stumbles backwards against the cage. Kerns steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Jones's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Jones just didn't come prepared.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerns tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Drnold manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kerns throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Drnold counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kerns won't be happy with that.
Drnold scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kerns to see if he's OK.

Drnold postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kerns looks a forlorn figure.
