The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colt lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mcnair backs up against the cage.
Mcnair lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Mcnair lands a slapping body shot.
Colt with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mcnair to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Brian Colt has been cut.
Mcnair drops Colt with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Colt looks back up at him and smiles so Mcnair waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mcnair feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Colt sprawling to the canvas! Colt rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mcnair finish him?!
Colt is rocked!
Mcnair lands an uppercut, right on the button! Colt tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Steve Mcnair! |
