The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Logan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. An inside leg kick lands from Uberom. Uberom lands a really nice looking cross but Logan seems unphased.
Logan throws a head kick that misses and Uberom counters with a thumping low kick. Uberom buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Uberom closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Luke Logan has been cut. Uberom misses with a left hand and Logan moves into the clinch. Uberom misses with a hook from the clinch. Logan's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Logan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Uberom keeps the fight on the outside. Uberom throws a hook but Logan avoids it easily. Logan swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. The fighters circling - Uberom throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Uberom swats away the attempt to clinch by Logan. Logan drives through with a takedown into guard. Uberom kicks Logan off and gets to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uberom connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Logan tries a head kick but it misses.
A jab from Uberom misses. Logan is looking to counter punch. Uberom scoring well with a low kick there.
Uberom lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Logan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Logan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Uberom's guard. Uberom pushes Logan off and scrambles back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Logan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. A solid leg kick lands there for Uberom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Logan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Uberom napping and manages to drive through into side control! A lull in the action here as Logan stalls from top position. Uberom tries to bench press Logan off him but Logan keeps the position. Logan is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Uberom will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Uberom told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. You can see the frustration on Uberom's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Logan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Uberom, who protects the arm well. Logan taking a breather here. Uberom is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Logan working the body and head with strikes. Uberom tries to bench press Logan off him but Logan keeps the position. Logan looks up at the clock and then as Uberom takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Logan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Uberom is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Uberom is looking for a sweep. Uberom looks winded! The ground and pound from Logan seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Uberom avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Logan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Logan looks up at the clock and then as Uberom takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Logan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
It looks like Alistar Uberom has been cut. Logan trying to control the action but Uberom is working from the bottom. Logan is working Uberom over with some ground and pound from side control.
That has opened up Alistar Uberom's cut even more. Check out the look on Logan's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The cut above Alistar Uberom's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Uberom tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Logan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. A lull in the action here as Logan stalls from top position. Uberom stops Logan from passing to mount. Uberom managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Logan.
Uberom is not content to let Logan control the position. Logan stands up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alistar Uberom dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Logan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Uberom looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Uberom tries to bench press Logan off him but Logan keeps the position. You can see the frustration on Uberom's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Uberom has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Uberom trying to remain calm as Logan controls from the top position. Logan trying to control the position but Uberom is working away. Logan landing a few strikes.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alistar Uberom's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uberom looks to land a left hand but Buodkai moved out of range nicely. Buodkai throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Uberom makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Uberom connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Uberom drops his shoulder and cracks Buodkai with a huge uppercut! Buodkai goes down! Can Uberom finish him?
It looks like Aaron Buodkai has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Uberom slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Uberom is continuing to stall. Uberom postures up.
Buodkai on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Buodkai tries to get out of the position. Uberom sitting in guard, not really doing much. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uberom throws a big right hand that misses. Uberom seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. The fight stays on the outside here - Buodkai looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Buodkai takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Uberom avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Uberom moves in close and cracks Buodkai with a massive right hand! Buodkai, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Uberom!
