Hamundarson shoots in but Zing avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hamundarson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hamundarson fails with the takedown
letting Zing counter with a right hand.
Hamundarson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zing as he avoids it easily.
Zing is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hamundarson.
Matt Zing has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gunnar Hamundarson.
Hamundarson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Zing checks a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zing is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hamundarson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Zing is looking to defend but Hamundarson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Zing! Hamundarson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Zing taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zing loads up on a big right hand but Khan slips the punch.
A little feinted left hand from Khan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Zing drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.#CUT#It looks like Matt Zing has been cut.
Zing swings widly with a right hand
and Khan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Matt Zing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan lands a body shot.
Khan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zing.
Zing swings for the body but Khan moves out of range.
Khan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Zing throws a body shot but no joy.
Khan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Khan blocks a jab.
Khan lands a nice hook to Zing's body. Zing takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Khan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Zing's hands.#CL#
Khan darts in and clinches Zing up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Zing with a big uppercut! Zing tries to clinch up but Khan pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Zing to the mat! Zing covers up and Khan unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Zing drops his hands momentarily and Ueda needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Zing just on the top of the head. Zing drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Zing - he's done!
