Norman lands a glancing blow to the side of Smith's head.#CUT#It looks like John Smith has been cut.#KD# Norman feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Smith sprawling to the canvas! Smith rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Norman finish him?!
A telegraphed right hand from Norman misses the target. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Norman swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norman staying out of range there. Norman missing with a left hand there. Bayliss was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Norman misses with a hook. Norman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bayliss throws out the jab. Norman takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bayliss ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bayliss moves out of range as Norman strikes. A jab lands there for Norman. Norman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bayliss avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Norman misses with a straight left. Bayliss jabbing away but nothing is landing. Norman slips a straight right by Bayliss. A telegraphed right hand from Norman misses the target. Bayliss throws the left hand but Norman avoids the punch easily. Bayliss lands with an uppercut that bounces Norman off the ropes and back into range. Norman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bayliss moves away. Norman slips under a jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bayliss ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bayliss slips under a jab from Norman. Bayliss defending well as Norman loads up on a big left hand. A big right from Bayliss misses. A little jabbing left from Norman on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Norman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bayliss. Bayliss looks to throw the jab but Norman is out of range.

Norman misses with an uppercut. Norman throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Norman misses with a hook. Bayliss ducked under it nicely. Norman throws a hook to the side of Bayliss's head but Bayliss sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bayliss fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bayliss throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Norman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Bayliss takes a shot right to the bread basket. Norman throws a hook to the side of Bayliss's head but Bayliss sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Norman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bayliss looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jab from Norman. Norman moves away from the strike by Bayliss. Norman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bayliss. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Norman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Bayliss is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Norman slips under a jab from Bayliss. Norman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bayliss. Bayliss defending well as Norman loads up on a big left hand. Bayliss cracks Norman with an open hand slap.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Norman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bayliss pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A countering left hand to the body from Norman misses. Norman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bayliss.
Norman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bayliss bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Norman throws a hook but Bayliss avoids it easily. Bayliss swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Norman takes a swing at Bayliss's ribcage but misses. Norman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Norman walks into a left hand. Norman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bayliss to score with a decent uppercut. Bayliss tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Norman was well out of range. Poor timing from Bayliss. A looping hook to the body misses from Bayliss. Norman does a little dance to reset his feet. Bayliss looks to land a left hand but Norman moved out of range nicely. Bayliss connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Norman momentarily.
Bayliss throws a jab when Norman was well out of range. Norman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bayliss misses with an uppercut. Norman slips under a jab. Bayliss's jab looks to have found its range, popping Norman under the eye. Bayliss uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Norman. Norman throws a big shot that misses. A slow jab from Bayliss misses its intended target.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Rollo Norman. Well Norman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
