The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick from Saigne is predictable there and Aldo counters with a nice body shot. Aldo swats away the attempt to clinch by Saigne. Aldo appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Saigne takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Aldo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Saigne if he has to take too many more of those.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aldo lands a leg kick that knocks Saigne off balance momentarily. Saigne tries to clinch up. Aldo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Aldo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Aldo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Aldo keeps Saigne at a distance using the push kick. Saigne is breathing heavily. The fighters circle, before Aldo throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Saigne's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Aldo lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
