Khan looks to land a combination but Makoniko avoids it well.
Khan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Khan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Makoniko.
As Makoniko looks to move away, Khan throws a big counter combo but Makoniko just gets out of the way.
We've been hearing reports that Khan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Isaac Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Makoniko.
Khan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Makoniko lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Khan quite badly. Khan pulls Makoniko in close trying to recover. Makoniko postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Khan on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Khan doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Khan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walte moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walte just misses with a punch to the body.
Walte jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Walte on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Khan throws a hook but Walte avoids it easily.

It seemed like Walte was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Walte is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Walte lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Khan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Khan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
