Hallbjornsson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Larsen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hallbjornsson counters with a nice uppercut. #CUT#It looks like Aksel Larsen has been cut.
Larsen's coach down at Essence Dive was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Larsen's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Larsen's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Hallbjornsson throws a punch but it's blocked by Larsen.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hallbjornsson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Larsen lands a right hand.

Larsen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hallbjornsson fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Larsen to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Larsen looks to clinch but Hallbjornsson throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Larsen taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larsen gets caught flat footed, as Jonson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jonson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jonson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jonson landing with the ground and pound.
Larsen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jonson passes into half guard.
Jonson content to control rather than advance.
Jonson gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jonson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Larsen's guard.
Jonson is working Larsen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Larsen is looking to stand up but Jonson isn't so interested in that idea.
Jonson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Larsen scores with a nice strike.
Boris Jonson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jonson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Larsen was covering up waiting for the punch and Jonson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Jonson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Larsen's guard.

Jonson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Larsen wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
