#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith slips a jab from Norman. Norman lands a glancing blow to the side of Smith's head.#CUT#It looks like John Smith has been cut.#KD# Norman feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Smith sprawling to the canvas! Smith rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Norman finish him?!
A telegraphed right hand from Norman misses the target. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Norman swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Little tries to clinch but Smith is having none of it. Little tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Smith misses with a left hand enabling Little to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like John Smith has been cut. Little lands with a kick to the temple. Smith shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Little misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Smith could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Little swinging wildly here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Little manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith postures up in Little's guard and throws a big left but Little blocks it. Little controls Smith momentarily but Smith frees himself. Little wants to sweep but no luck. Little trying to control the position here. Smith working some strikes from top position. Smith lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Little had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Smith defends it easily. Smith being controlled here momentarily. Smith scoring with some ground and pound. Smith postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Little trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Little tries to land a sweep but no joy. Smith lands a couple of decent looking shots. Smith landing with the ground and pound. Smith chips away with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smith works over Little with some ground and pound from guard. Smith is in close to Little's body, working some short punches and elbows. Little is looking to stand up but Smith isn't so interested in that idea. Smith lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Little is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smith defends well. Smith scoring with some ground and pound. Little seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Little has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Smith should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Little has tightened it up now! Smith should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
