GDL 38: River vs Tragedy
Date: May 30, 2020 |
#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bully swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Broadfoot doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Bully definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Bully moves out of range as Broadfoot strikes. It looked like Bully wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Bully throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Broadfoot is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.#KD# Bully drops Broadfoot with a right and a left! Bully comes rushing in but Broadfoot regains his composure and manages to keep Bully in guard.
#CUT#It looks like Bradley Broadfoot has been cut. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB# Bully drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Bully seems to have locked his on tight now - Broadfoot screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bully, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Sox Bully! Post fight, an emotional Sox Bully said 'This chump and his manager wanted the easy win lol'. |
