#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Panda throws a sloppy body shot
#TD2# and Uroway counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Panda! Uroway working the head and body with strikes. Panda is not content to let Uroway control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Uroway works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Uroway working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Panda regains half guard. Uroway is trying to control the action in half guard but Panda is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Panda has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Panda works his way to full guard. Good work. Uroway with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Uroway loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. #SUB# Panda is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Uroway rolls with it to try and escape but Panda cranks on the arm and Uroway is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Reed misses the jab. Uroway staying out of range there. Uroway ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Reed moves away. Reed misses the shot to the body. Uroway drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Reed defends it well. Reed throws the left hand but Uroway avoids the punch easily. And Uroway tries to counter it with a takedown but Reed pushes his down on his head and steps out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uroway misses with a jab to the body
and Reed cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Uroway swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Reed was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.#T1# Uroway throws the left hand but Reed avoids the punch easily. Uroway dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Reed throws a hook to the side of Uroway's head but Uroway sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Uroway throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Reed ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Reed connects with a crisp jab. #T4# Reed cracks Uroway with a good jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Reed. Uroway does a little dance to reset his feet. Uroway tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Uroway stuns Reed with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Reed throws a jab but it's blocked by Uroway. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Reed misses with a hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reed swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Uroway is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Reed rather than just go for the knockout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uroway slips under a jab. Uroway with the counter takedown but Reed avoids it easily. Uroway tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reed swivels and escapes. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Uroway misses with a takedown attempt and Reed counters with a stiff right hand. Big Reed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zion Uroway. Reed comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.#T2# Uroway keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Reed keeping moving, preventing Uroway from controlling successfully. Uroway won't allow Reed to sweep him here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Uroway working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Reed's head. Uroway should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Uroway trying to control but Reed is working from the bottom. #T3# Uroway is working Reed over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Uroway controlling from the top position. Uroway has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Uroway lands a couple of digs. Uroway lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Uroway keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Reed's head. Uroway is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. #T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Let's hope that Uroway has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Zion Uroway decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uroway tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from Uroway. Brown shoots in but no luck this time. Brown goes for a double leg but Uroway avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Uroway continues to drive forward. Uroway now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Brown throws a head kick that misses and Uroway counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Brown! Brown on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brown tries to get out of the position. Uroway advances nicely into full mount. Uroway working Brown over with strikes here. Uroway pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Uroway content just to control the position here. Uroway raining down hammerfists from mount. Uroway fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ostry throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Uroway's waist but Uroway gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ostry off to one side. Horrible takedown attempt by Ostry or perhaps it was just good defense by Uroway, which made it look bad. Uroway appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Ostry closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Uroway did well to prevent Ostry getting side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ostry thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Uroway's head. Ostry with the ground and pound but Uroway uses the opportunity to regain guard. Uroway on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Uroway tries to get out of the position. Ostry postures up in Uroway's guard and throws a big left but Uroway blocks it. Ostry cracks Uroway with a solid left hand. Ostry working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Uroway could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ostry throwing strikes from guard but Uroway blocks nicely.
