Mountain jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Deuce avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mountain throws a jab but it's blocked by Deuce.
Mountain cracks Deuce on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Deuce falls backwards against the cage. Mountain follows up with more strikes that drop Deuce to his knees. Mountain keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Deuce! This one is all over!

Deuce is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Gruff is pressed up against the cage. Deuce has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gruff down to the mat. Gruff avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Gruff wants to clinch
and Deuce counters with a nice low kick that buckles Gruff's knee momentarily.
Gruff shoots in and drives through. Deuce sprawls well.
Deuce appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Deuce ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Deuce no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Deuce is pulling down on Gruff's head. It's preventing any offense from Gruff, at least for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gruff trying to control the position from guard on top but Deuce is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Deuce is pushing down on Gruff's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gruff is fighting to maintain full guard but Deuce has managed to sneak the leg through.
Gruff is concentrating on defense, preventing Deuce from advancing position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Deuce in particular looking to stall.#SUB#
