The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee with a jab.#CUT2#It looks like Jimi Kolins has been cut.
Kolins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kolins off to one side.
Lee throws a combination. Kolins tries to block but a couple of punches get through.#ROC2#Kolins is rocked!
Lee fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Kolins square on the jaw! Damn, Kolins is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bruce Lee!
After winning the bout, Bruce Lee thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. |

Kolins has his takedown stuffed
and Taylor counters with a left to the body.
Kolins goes for a double leg but Taylor avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Taylor continues to drive forward.

and Taylor counters with a three punch combo that has Kolins backing up. Kolins nods at Taylor to acknowledge the strikes.
Buddy Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimi Kolins.

and Taylor counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Kolins has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Kolins gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Moons cracks Kolins with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Moons!
Moons scores with a hook to the body. Kolins takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Moons feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kolinss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kolins drops his hands momentarily and Moons takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kolins looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Moons cracks Kolins with a right hand to the side of the head.
Moons stuffs the takedown attempt from Kolins. Kolins gets slowly back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Moons jabs Kolins right on the nose. Kolins blinks but takes it well.
Kolins takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Moons shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kolins eats them both and turns towards Moons to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Moons connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. #ROC2#

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kolins but Kolins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tyson looks to clinch
and Kolins counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tyson won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kolins thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kolins slows the pace down.

Kolins scores with a couple of short elbows.
Tyson is trying to get back to half guard.
Kolins creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kolins works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Kolins in side control, just content to control the action for now.
A big shot lands for Kolins! That's hurt Tyson! Will he recover? Kolins fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

After the fight, Jimi Kolins was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
