He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Farquharson! Farquharson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Brute scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Farquharson to see if he's OK. Brute trying to control the position but Farquharson is working away. A lull in the action here as Brute stalls from top position. Brute connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Farquharson some visible discomfort.
Farquharson sneaks back into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Farquharson misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Farquharson tries to get to full guard but Brute has control of the leg. Brute works his foot free and advances to mount. Brute pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Farquharson tries to hold on but Brute postures up. Brute wants to sweep here but Farquharson controlling him for the moment. Farquharson being controlled here momentarily. Brute wants to stand up but Farquharson is controlling him. Farquharson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Brute wants to get back to his feet but Farquharson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. #T3# Farquharson stands up out of Brute's guard for a moment - Brute manages to land a nice upkick. Brute looking to control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brute can do anything to dispel that myth. Brute is pulling down on Farquharson's head to control his posture. Farquharson wants to stand but Brute has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Brute striking off his back. Brute is trying to keep Farquharson in close.
#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Farquharson wants to stand but Brute is controlling his posture from full guard. Brute working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Farquharson's head. Brute wants to control from the top but Farquharson keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.#R2# Farquharson lands with a nice combination. Brute backs away looking to recover. Brute doesn't succeed with the takedown and Farquharson counters with a straight right hand. Farquharson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Brute misses with a straight right. Farquharson scores with a one two! Brute had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Farquharson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Farquharson wants it to stay on the feet. Farquharson scores with a push kick. Brute misses with a takedown and Farquharson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Malcom Farquharson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Brute. Brute is breathing heavily. Brute shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Brute takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Malcom Farquharson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T1##KD# Farquharson lands a big head kick that sends Brute tumbling to the mat! Farquharson takes a step backwards and waves Brute back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC#Brute is rocked! Farquharson feints a jab and as Brute dips his head, Farquharson unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Brute right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Brute falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Farquharson smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brute stuffs the takedown.#TD# Sakuraba looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brute is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Brute is trying to maintain the position but Sakuraba is very close to passing his half guard. Brute missing with punches from the bottom.
Sakuraba looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Brute with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sakuraba working Brute over with strikes. Sakuraba scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Sakuraba has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sakuraba working Brute over with strikes. Not this time though. Brute has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sakuraba is working away from the top position though.#SUB# Sakuraba looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevenson is looking to clinch. Brute misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.#TD# Brute shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brute showed some decent athleticism there. Brute stops Stevenson from getting back to his feet.
Brute is just content to waste time from the top position. Stevenson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Brute pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stevenson is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brute is working Stevenson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Brute throws an elbow that misses. Stevenson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brute's guard. Nice move by Stevenson!#REVB##T1# Brute is trying to hold Stevenson in close to prevent damage but Stevenson has managed to pass into half guard.
#SUB# Brute looking for submissions from an awkward position here.#SUB2# Brute is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Stevenson has latched onto it... Big trouble! Stevenson pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Brute is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Stevenson!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooper throws a right and a left that both miss. Cooper throws a nice head kick!
#CUT2#It looks like Jon Brute has been cut.#CL# Brute closes the distance and pushes Cooper back into the cage.#TD# Brute is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Cooper can't fight it off and eventually Brute manages to take the fight to the floor. Cooper looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.#SUB2# Cooper is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Brute has his hands clasped together but Cooper extends and breaks Brute's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Cooper.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brute shoots in but no luck this time. Brute dives in and scores a takedown into Robinson's guard. Robinson trying to strike off his back.
Brute really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Robinson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brute stands up over Robinson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Brute stops Robinson from standing up. Robinson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Robinson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Robinson managing to control the position. Robinson striking off his back but it's not causing Brute any problems. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brute stopping the sweep attempt from Robinson. Robinson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Robinson seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Robinson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Brute is controlling him. Brute landing with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brute has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Robinson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Brute is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Robinson pulls down on the head and he's put Brute to sleep! This one is all over!
