and Brown holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Brown jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Streck walks away with a smile on his face. Brown gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #CL2#

Streck connects with a combination that backs up Brown into the cage. Streck lands a flurry of punches that gets past Brown's guard. Brown is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Streck bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yoshi.#TD#
Brown scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Yoshi bucks up and tries to throw Brown off but instead Brown has got his back!#SUB#
Brown working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Yoshi is doing well to defend. Brown seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Yoshi is forced to tap and this one is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uroway tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from Uroway.
Brown shoots in but no luck this time.
Brown goes for a double leg but Uroway avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Uroway continues to drive forward.
Uroway now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Brown throws a head kick that misses
and Uroway counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Brown!
Brown on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brown tries to get out of the position.
Uroway advances nicely into full mount.

Uroway pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Brown is bucking up trying to escape but Uroway cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Uroway has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round.
BOOM! Uroway connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Uroway should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Brown takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Uroway's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

After the fight, Zion Uroway was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
