#R1# Green throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Barnes looks to score with a jab to the body but Green is just out of range. Barnes misses with a hook. Green ducked under it nicely. Green raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Green shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barnes as he avoids it easily. Barnes has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mentor Gym in the buildup to the fight. Barnes with a jab.#CUT#It looks like Herb Green has been cut. Barnes showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Green.
Barnes appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Green wants to clinch but Barnes slips to the side and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Green doesn't succeed with the takedown and Barnes counters with a right hand to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barnes misses the body punch and Green counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Barnes with a nice cross. Green throws a sloppy head kick and Barnes moves out of range easily. Barnes swings for the body but Green moves out of range.

#TD# so Green counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Green tries to free his leg and advance position but Lyde is retaining full guard. Lyde looking for a sweep. Not yet Lyde, not yet. #SUB# Green drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lyde manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Green has Lyde in his guard.#REVB# Green wants to sweep here but Lyde controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Green escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lyde gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lyde in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. It looked like Green was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Lyde. Green takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Lyde scores with a crisp jab that stopped Green in his tracks. #ROC2#Green is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lyde flashes Green a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Green's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Green crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Lyde punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Green throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Murdock counters with a right hand to the body. #T2# The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Murdock checks a leg kick. Green throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Green comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Murdock keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Green can't get the takedown.

Yarborough has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Green lands with a thumping leg kick.

Green tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Switzer paws at him with a jab and circles away. Green throws a body shot but no joy. Green shoots for a takedown but Switzer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Switzer's coach down at Iron Sharpens Iron was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Switzer's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Switzer jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Green looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Switzer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Green tries to clinch but Switzer moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Switzer scores with a jab to the body. Green thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head. Jones is looking to get back to full guard here but Green has managed to pass to side control instead. Morales lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
