#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Volkanobski on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Fitzgerald bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Volkanobski has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Volkanobski there as he acknowledges the shot. Fitzgerald is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Fitzgerald connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Volkanobski's hands. Fitzgerald fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Volkanobski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Fitzgerald keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Fitzgerald swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Nice body punch from Fitzgerald. Volkanobski fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Fitzgerald cracks a nice hook into Volkanobski's ribs. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#TD# Volkanobski closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fitzgerald's guard.#ES2# Fitzgerald manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Fitzgerald lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. #T1# Fitzgerald prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexandar Volkanobski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fitzgerald lands with a light punch inside. Fitzgerald lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Volkanobski shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Greg Fitzgerald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fitzgerald drops Volkanobski with a huge uppercut! Volkanobski drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Fitzgerald is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
