The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Best keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Best scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Best cracks Detweede with a hook to the temple - Detweede is on wobbly legs here! Best swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Detweede falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Best wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Best Best!
An out of breath Best Best thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. |

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#CL#
Detweede rushes Kraack and presses him up against the cage.
Detweede leaning against his opponent.
Kraack is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Detweede is defending well.
Detweede throws an elbow but it misses.
Detweede drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kraack gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Detweede escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Detweede shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kraack but Kraack pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kraack lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Detweede throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kraack 's waist but Kraack gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Detweede off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Japie Detweede. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Detweede looks like he's thinking about clinching though.#T1#
Detweede takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kraack throws a left and a right that both miss
and Detweede counters with a body kick.
A punch lands to the side of Detweede 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kraack takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Kraack shoots in and gets a takedown into Detweede's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kraack working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Detweede's head.
Kraack is fighting to break Detweede's control of his arms but Detweede is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kraack 's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Kraack throws a big right hand that misses. #SUB#
Detweede is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kraack rolls with it to try and escape but Detweede cranks on the arm and Kraack is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
